Do harmony gold control any english language license of macross? Seems unlikely, I think Harmony gold is just holding the license for america and europe.

This game was made with asian market in mind so I don't think the absence of macross is down to Harmony Gold

Nah Harmony Gold wont be able to do Anything if they wanted to add Macross into the game Imo. Pretty sure theyre just intentionally not using Macross for the time being.

Macross is not included in this game has nothing to do with harmony gold.
However if it was, it would not be released in the west no matter what.
As it is now, there is still chance that it will just pop up on release date for everyone.
