Corrupted save file issue / Save file does not load

Some players have been reporting an issue that makes it impossible for their save files to load. Our team is aware of that and we're working on a fix, which will be included in the next patch. Until the patch gets here, please refer to this thread whenever you encounter this issue.

What's the issue?

To give you an overview of the issue: selling tractor and/or harvester parts, buying new ones afterwards and then saving the game causes the save file to become corrupted, which results in your save file loading indefinitely.

The process is as follows:
1. Sell tractor and/or harvester parts.
2. Buy new tractor and/or harvester parts.
3. Save the game at any point after that.
4. It's likely that the next time you try to load your save file, it won't be able to load.

What can I do to prevent it?

All you need to do is to change the process above a little!
1. Sell tractor and/or harvester parts.
2. Save the game.
3. Go to the main menu of the game.
4. Load your game.
5. Buy new tractor and/or harvester parts.
6. Proceed with your game.

You should be able to prevent your save file from being corrupted if you follow these steps. We're aware that going back to menu every time is inconvenient, which is why we want to deliver you a patch with fix as soon as possible, but we believe that for the time being, this temporary solution is better than no solution at all. :)

My save file refuses to load! What do I do?

No problem! As we have a good hang on this issue, we can fix your save file. You just need to send it to us.
Your save file can be found in this directory: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\PyramidGames\Farming Life

You can access it in 3 ways:
1. Just access it normally via File Explorer – as AppData is a hidden folder, it may be difficult to access it this way. In that case try other ways.
2. Copy and paste " %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\PyramidGames\Farming Life " into the File Explorer's search bar.
3. Press Windows + R and paste " %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\PyramidGames\Farming Life " into the box that pops up.

When you get to the folder, you should see "gameSave(number)" file. Please send this file as a ZIP file to [e-mail] . We'll do our best to respond as soon as possible with a fixed save file.
