Honestly one of the worst driving experiences I've had in the last 20 years of gaming. This is something I'd have expected in the 80s or 90s, not 2022.
Unless you enjoy haphazardly driving down a road, running into everything coming and going and it being pretty impossible to drive straight, then you're going to hate this. This, to me, was a complete waste of effort. I can't imagine how someone could think this was better than the original driving (and that one one unstable). I'd rather risk crashing every time I went to the city than this.
I really think, and this is honestly trying to be helpful, maybe next time ask the community. Ultimately it's your vision and 90% of the time, I'd say do what suits that vision, but when you're changing an advertised aspect of gameplay, it really doesn't hurt to get feedback.
I do feel bad for the developer. I'm sure they had good intentions but unfortunately, this will probably turn a lot of people away from the game. After waiting so long for the driving aspect to return, I'm regrettably uninstalling at this point.
Best of luck.
I am glad that "call for delivery" is enabled from the start. Please consider leaving this in as is.
That was intended to make it more challenging, as driving in this game is so much different mechanic than baking we wanted to give some diversity and challenge for those who decide to deliver.
There were a lot of very negative comments and reviews that the old one was very bad, boring and easy, without any challenge. New driving is more challenging for those who decide to deliver themselves.
♥♥♥♥♥, that sucks mate. Well, devs tried. I know that there are games with better driving but hey, here it is just an additional mechanic. We wanted to give so diversity for the players. For those who just want a casual/relaxing baking experience to give the option to skip, for others give driving. It seemed pretty cool on the paper. There are some who like it, and who don't it can always be skipped. If you had fun with the game without driving it shouldn't be vital. Just to ask: "what if this game never had driving deliver, as other similar cooking games" would you recommend it?
Yes but the way they forced it on us was wrong, They should've just added the top down option and allowed players to choose between Top Down and 3D view by pressing V or something
