I hate doing that, I thought of lowering the difficulty to easy and return after the race if that will make a difference but I'm too lazy to redownload now

Don't know if you have tried this but using the grass verges on at least three of the corners is what allowed me to win yesterday. You can also drive through the hay bales on the left at the first corner. I never quite got that right, if you can it will shorten your lap by a lot.

About the race it's easy u just need to know what you trying to do and understand behavior of the car and race track
Honestly idk how ppl can't pass it on easy difficulty, they must never played the games in thei entire life
I can understand the hard and classic mode...but changing the difficulty and still can't pass it.....I don't know about that man....

I'm not gonna lie, I'm here for this exact reason and that's exactly what I'm thinking, it helps to know that I'm not the only one frustrated with it, I always end up spinning out and it makes me want to smash my keyboard now, been a long ahh time since I've felt this rage. Sucks because I've been stuck on this portion alone more than I've played the game itself.

i was playing on hard before i deleted the game and forgot that i could lower the difficulty, i won't bother now f it.

I thought it was fun. Took about 30 mins to get but once you get it, it's like a "Damn why didn't I just do that before" moment. Use NPCs to slowdown and corner, cut some corners and you'll be good to go. I passed 1st at the end of the 2nd lap.

Don't let a race stop you from completing the game lol

I just cannot understand how folks cannnot bypass it on easy mode i get the struggle with classic tho
i looked up all the tips from players how to drive watched 2 vids on Youtube and took me 2H to beat it on classic
matter fact i pass it in original mafia too u can watch my screenshots or vids if someone cant get thru this race in remaster NO WAY u can get thru it in Original its x20 harder

if u want i can record how im passing it on classic one more time for you=) no sweat beat it once beat it 2
