In case you cant launch the game:
Open Game folder: Delete the .exe "launcher" file and then you launch the "mafiadefinitiveedition" exe file!

The game is not launching even after following the above suggested method. Any other solution, please?

Hello,

You can skip the launcher, which is apparently CPU heavy, by right-clicking the game on Steam and adding a launch command. First, you get the location of the executable file and put %command% in front of it.

Here is an example of the command. I keep my game on my H drive:
"H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mafia Definitive Edition\mafiadefinitiveedition.exe" %command%
