Did they change anything in the story?

Haven't played this one yet, but I do remember the ending of the original game and was wondering if it's the same?

Ending is the same, dialogue is bit different and there is lot more happening. Also main characters tone what is about to happen is bit different.

As for the overall story, there are differences here and there like extra person or different twist over original one.
