How to get it work in Steam deck?

It’s a pity that it doesn’t work on Steam deck. Just nothing appears when I clicked play button. Any one can give a thought on this? Much appreciated.

Not sure why, but I just installed it and it played fine on the first run without changing anything. Although the performance is not that great with a lot of fps drops, and the controls in game don't show the actual buttons.

Works great on my Deck, I get between 35-40 fps. No issues with the 2K launcher.

Glad to know that you can run the game without any issue. However it’s still not workable on my deck. Don’t know why and saw some similar issues possibly created by the launcher.

I'm kinda late but I managed to run it on deck following what everyone is telling on protonDB, it works great (great if you don't mind 35 - 47 fps average)

The only issue I have is this "control prompts not showing up" thing. Shame, because I haven't played it and I don't want to check control scheme every time I have to do something. Any solutions?

The game works great! But! You need to set up controls. Control tips in the game do not work.

The mafia definitive edition just launched successfully without having to patch anything. The 2K launcher doesn’t start up. Not sure if 2K team has fixed something. Anyway this is really good. I can enjoy the game now on the deck.
