Anyone got it working for steam deck?

Anyone got this to work on the steamdeck? mafia 2 DE works perfectly without any changes but not 1. Is it recommended I play 1 before starting 2?

Works great on steam deck, you just have add the executable (not the launcher) as a non-steam game

Start the Game directly from the Game.exe in the Install folder or use
"<path-to-game>\mafiadefinitiveedition.exe" %command% command line argument

no, you have to add it as a nonsteam game in desktop mode, but you switch back to game mode to launch the new nonsteam game version
