I don't care about ultra HD graphics if the game is an unplayable bug mess

I'm on both sides of the barricade. I prefer Mafia DE when it comes to gameplay, cutscenes and the graphics in overall. Also I like some changes in characters (Paulie and Sarah especially). The original Mafia on the other hand does some things better like being more immersed in the world because of lack of mission markers and just being able to see a map while driving. It made the city more memorable to the point where you could drive to your target without even looking at the map. You just memorised the streets. The atmosphere was also a bit better because it was more hmm grounded? For a lack of better word. Definitive Edition was more like a modern Hollywood film in that matter. The original felt quite more real. Additionally, I liked older Tommy a lil more because he never became a cold-blooded killer unlike the new Tommy who feels too enthusiastic about killing someone and only feels remorseful when the lady gets killed in a car with the planted bomb. Older Tommy always felt like he does these things because he owes Salieri his life, not because he found it enjoyable to kill some people. Some missions in DE were also improved making them more fun and more developed. I like both games the same but the original will always have a special place in my heart because it was one of the first games of this type that I've ever played.
