Mafia 3 DE is just the 2016 game now bundled with all DLCs.

Mafia The City of Lost Heaven aka Mafia 1 is a 2002 game and sells for 3 € on Steam.

This ranks in the top few best of all of those. gameranx youtube channel rated it as a number one sort of game for the genre. I dig the graphics and thankfully I haven't had even one stall or glitch of any kind. I thought the price for the Definitive Edition was reasonable. I didn't get it on sale, but when you consider how many hours of play you will get for how much you end up paying *per hour* it's certainly a good deal in that way. Cyberpunk 2077 has drug cartel plot, as do many other modern games, but the good ol' Godfather and Scarface action and "romance" is in Mafia Definitive Edition.

Well for starters they changed the voices, dialogue and personalities of every character in the game, ruining them in the process. Tommy is now some tough guy hollywood bastardization of what he once was. Paulie especially is a complete joke compared to what he was in the OG. Several key story elements have been changed just because. Several story moments have been completely altered or added. They moved the location of Salieri's bar. They dumbed down the game to make it a hand holder (with the exception of the race and the turret mission). They removed every thing that made the original game unique like the moving drawbridges, ride able trams, even minute things like opening and closing doors. No more lucas bertone missions. The free ride missions suck and are short. Literally the only good thing about this game is the graphics, that's it.
