is there any replay value?

just got this game, never realized how linear this game is. theres no freedom or open world exploration or purpose. if this a REMAKE why couldnt they update it with todays standards instead of removing mechanics from the original.

anyways is there any replay value after you beat the game? any side missions? or is the replay just roaming around an empty world with nothing to do but shoot pedestrians?

im asking cause im considering a refund and dont wanna past the 2hr mark.

There are 11 missions in Freeride mode. It is unlocked after you beat the 2nd mission in story mode. You can also find 5 hidden cars (during story mode), play taxi mission and use the race track.

the 11 missions are they all related to cars and racing? man i hope the freeride mode is fun. im thinking of refunding this and gettin star wars squadron heard the VR was good.

refund it, free ride is just an empty sideshow with very little replay value. You can do races and do taxi fares and...drive around and look for collectibles.
Plus you can always rebuy it later.

Besides the the 12 side missions, you can do races at the racetrack, take taxi fares, and collect the collectables. That's it.

The city is pretty empty TBH.

yeh your right. its gonna be cheaper down the road and honestly this game isnt worth 39 bucks. prob 29.99. performance, animations, graphics seems worse then mafia 3. it so linear and empty world with no replay value. the time spending playing this game, rather sit down and rewatch godfather or other mafioso movies.

need something with high replay value.

It has the same replayability as a classic gangster movie. Every couple of years you pop it in and enjoy the story.

Freeride is so empty, it's not worthy of 2020, but then again it remains true to the classic in all aspects.

I never realized how stupid are players now ... God bless old times and good linear games ... these massive open worlds now, you enjoy it? seriously ? stupid side missions or activities ,which only extend the playing time for nothing ....

This game is primaly a Story game!!! , and of course best story games are linear games ... easy compare with Mafia 3

go look in the mirror if you wanna see a stupid person who has no standards. you get suckered in easily by the most minimum standards. god bless new modern games with high replayability value, with great graphics and animations with better open world for better immersion with the addition of a good story.

open world with good stories and side missions and high replay: gta, rdr, godfather(ps2), scarface(ps2), metal gear, the witcher, ghost of tsushima...etc..etc... you must be a real idiot or have horrible observation and analysis or never played open world games with good stories and side missions. you must be a real narrowminded one sided individual.

instead of holding my hand guiding me to play a game through one sitting where i lack total freedom or control im better off watching a mafioso movie with a better story line.

if all you care is about story then watch a damn movie. A GAME your supposed to ENJOY the GAMEPLAY MECHANICS as it pulls you in through IMMERSION.

Apparantly not.Free ride is empty,and there is no public transport available,so once you finish the game the only realistic option is to do it again.An empty game ,with an empty world.Do what i did and refund.Wait until half price sale,because half a game is only worth half price.

Not without a dev kit and mods. If you're into linear story (it's not bad btw) you'll like the game, but no, once it's over, although there's a minimal freeride, games over.
