Stop a car engine in Mafia 1: Definitive Edition

The ability to stop a car engine without actually leaving a car was one of the cool features in the original Mafia game. Is it still present in the Remake? I was not able to find it.

Sadly no its not there. Neither is leaving the car while leaving engine running.

To be fair, you had to kinda glitch the game to be able to do that in the original (start engine then immediately exit the car). But they had a good opportunity to improve on that here.

It's these kind of little things that made the original better, in my opinion. Particularly things pertaining to the cars.

Could always jump out while it's rolling
