I complained about it too but many people downvoted me saying it's from 1946, that's why it isn't in the game. Modders are still there...

woah what a bunch of tards

Belleville won't be in the remake because this song was released in 1946 meanwhile the game takes place in the 30s.

The original game also took place in 1930's and had this song. Plus this is a fictional world, the city of Lost Heaven and Empire Bay don't exist in real life. Also keep in mind it screws up the easter eggs for the collection. In Mafia 2 during the mission stairway to heaven. It is played as a reference to Mafia 1 because during that mission you reenact the ending to Mafia 1.

Idiots will defend this

Yes, but this time they’re trying to be historically accurate, for example, by not adding playboy magazines because they didn't exist in 30s, just like not adding Belleville for the same reason.

Also funny thing, they have rights to the song still because the song is still present in the re release of mafia 2 definitive edition which means they had to renew the music license. I am still excited for Mafia Definitive Edition I just would hope they could patch the song back in. Plus to the people talking about historical accuracy. You can literally drive cars from Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 ( Lincoln Clays Muscle Car, Vittos Corvette... ETC) So the game already has thrown that type of time period realism out the window lol.

Those are DLCs though.

Are you suggesting they make the song a DLC?

I'm talking about Vito's Shubert Frigate and Lincoln's Samson Drifter being a DLC, don't make a fool of me please.

Im just playing, but seriously there is no reason they can't have the song in the game. Its not a deal breaker for the game at all Im not upset. Its just funny they decided not to have the song in the game and that people are coming up with these excuses as to why.

Yeah but I don't want Thomas the tank engine, just the cool song for Central city.

Also during the first mission, An offer you can't refuse in the remaster they shuld remove the shakedown assists at least in classic mode. Though i will just simply not use them... But i fear the game will force a few on me.

Thanks, wel I guess that is fair... I like the new dialog and the thematic so it can be overlooked. They made a classic game more cinematic while enriching the story. I just hope we will not have many quicktime events instead of actual driving.
