His face was basically saying "what do you think?"
I didn't finish DE yet.. but that is officially what is said in the original, kids.
But it doesn't seem like that's the case here.
Tommy spent 8 years in prison for his crimes even after putting Salieri and the entire family behind bars
That would mean it was impossible for them to hit him during that period.
Also its implied that Leo Galante was involved with Salieri (or at least aware of him) through the collectables in the DE so its entirely possible that Leo put out the hit on Tommy.
I think it was already confirmed that the hit on Tommy was made by Frank Vinci sicne they were close friends.
As for what happened to Frank's wife and daughter in DE, both are dead from how Sam gesticulated and the response from Tommy himself.
It is true that Frank Vincy was close friends with Salieri but i don't think he made that call in mafia 2.
That mission where Tommy needs to be killed was given by Eddie Scarpa. According to Joe it was a favor for Salierie's family.
As for what happend for franks wife and daughter, its never been specified did they die or not. Personally i think they are alive because they only have business with Frank. Only he needet to die.
