These are story focused linear games. I recommend you stick to The Godfather games if you're looking for an open world crime game.
The game is fine as is.
Just because most of the games this day and age are open world dosen't mean every game should be. Sometimes having a bit smaller game like this is more welcome then having another open world game.
I myself am happy they did not pack this remake with too much extra content and that its still similar length for original.
Other chapters are longer though and it irons out to be about 12 hours on average for classic which is spot-on for a linear game like this. Early on though it does feel like you're sailing through the game way too quick with simple missions but then bigger and better missions do come.
but i thought over the years they would listen to fans base and get more ideas then short missions.. not saying it is, but to me i'm use to never end missions and get to do more then buying DLC type
understand on what i mean by it... yes godfather was the best and i thought it was compare to that to the mafia but i enjoy the games that they made but just lacking lot of stuff. the race, was great.. and ending was kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up haha... but still they could allow a online mode where u can make ur family and run it with others.. would that be nice?
