Is Graphics and Visuals ugly ?
i don't know maybe i'm doing something wrong here but i'm playing the game at maxed out settings and the graphics looks pretty awful TBH. it's strange to me because most of the reviews are praises the graphics and visuals of the game ....do we play different games ? :steamsad:

Use a smart sharpen filter used in newer Nvidia Turing cards, or AMD's newer RDNA cards. If you don't have those options in your driver, use Reshade's DELC_Sharpen. The TAA in this game blurs out the superb texture work and the physical based render material.

hey man tnx for your reply. i'm actually using the sharpen filter of Nvidia [Alt+F3] but it still looks pretty awful xD

Same here. The game does look beautiful, but there's like a vasseline filter all over it!! i had to disable depth of field, motion blur and AA. Still not as good. Ultimately use the Sharpening option from Nvidia Control Panel. That should do the trick.

FFS why devs stopped using MSAA? sure it was heavy, but it looked great! screw TAA!

Visuals look amazing at times but there is strong TAA hard-locked into the game plus some buildings and assets don't render very well from distance so you may notice the odd pop-up or lower quality details. This game does look sublime in places especially at night in the rain.

That makes the game look bad.
Honestly looks great on its own.

actually turning AA to low makes the game looks much better and sharper

The game looks great for me. My game looks better than I saw on youtube reviews. I was excited playing it and it has been very stable.

Games always look better when you see them in person yourself rather than in videos.

I play at 1440p high and it looks pretty good, quite better than Mafia 3, i also use AMD sharpening at 30% and it looks even better, but even without it it's not really that blurry.

so i guess we all have a different standards of what we consider "looking good"...
for me it's games like BF1,RDR2, Metro Exodus, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry 5 etc...
This game looks not bad but i would consider it as a 2013's graphics tbh...:grwdeath:

The game looks absolutely gorgeous on my end. One of the best looking games released this year.. only behind Doom Eternal and The Last of Us 2.
