I kinda expect that to happen. In original they wasent there but ever since that ending happen in mafia 2 it have to happen here. However that scene now too share one common thing in original. They use Sawed-off (Lupara) even that weapon is not in mafia 2.

Yeah although they were not there in Mafia 2002. Well techincally they were but you know what I mean, I expected them to show up in the remake because of Mafia 2.

Just imagine different ending :P Joe tries to pull a trigger but hears only "CLICK". OH S**T, then Sarah rapidly opens front door and shots shotgun to Joe and Vito :> Tommy survives and is like :O

I quite like the ending in this one because there is an acceptance that Tommy knows his days are numbered as soon as his name is mentioned. Joe's face did look a bit weird but it was nice to see the scene updated.

I'd love to see Empire Bay redone and showcasing the pre-war early years of Vito and Joe for a possible future sequel before the actors get too old and they need new voices.

It was expected or rather inevitable, nothing special about it except the Vin Diesel approved final dialogue.

Yes, played Mafia 2 classic a long time ago and played 2 DE on release, just implying the ending was powerful is all.

What I meant was.. if you had played Mafia 1 first, as you should have.. you know.. always better not to play a sequel before the original... It's 10x more mind blowing when you actually go out on a mission in Mafia 2 and then... you know.

If you didn't play Mafia 1.. that little mission made no sense to you. Otherwise its mind blowing.

This is just a thing for me, but Tommy thinking he can get away with it after what he did and even after being told Frank was found in Europe after all the hassle he went through is stupid for me and never made sense. Glad they changed Tommy to be way more accepting of his upcoming fate.

Well I didn't play Mafia 1 first and I realize it's a mistake. At first I was like "who's that guy getting in our way I just want to go forward" Though I later googled to see who he is and I understood, Didn't have an impact on me or anything when playing Mafia 1 last month ofc but here it legit made me hate Vito and Joe for a moment.
