No public transport. No freeride extreme. There is a freeride but for what purpose? To wander around a hollow world? It looks ok. Personally i think the graphics are overdone. Nothing like the original. Supposed to be a "faithful remake". This is skyrim all over again.

Is there any hope for mods that add some of that stuff in (directionals in cars, for example, which ped cars have but player does not get to use)?

Also I kind of want the vanilla gun models and textures to be replaced with more accurate ones (the M1911 looks way too big, but I might be imagining it, also it firing in double action is ridiculous and immersion killing). Remington 870 should not be in the game since it did not exist until the 1950s. Also the Thompson fires from a closed bolt, has an M1 Thompson rear sight, and the guns in cutscenes are not animated (wtf?!!!). I'm also really not a fan of pre-rendered cutscenes (of which there are quite a few of in this game). Would it be possible to even replace the vanilla guns with better models to begin with, or is the engine too restrictive?

lol what? almost everything i said about the game was proven to be true upon release. Looks like lots of others felt the same way since the game is being patched to address those critiques (such as the awful yellow markers that we can't turn off, like i predicted btw)

@Ace @Macy if you had noticed earlier there was a nasty post from "you know who" which has been removed by the mods. When posts contain racial slurs thats just crossing a line and the fact that it was directed towards me really got me pissed...
