Armored car, Trip to the Country, I can't destroy the turret

I must have tried it 30 times. You wait in between burst from the turret and shoot it until it has little explosions. From the game play that I've seen on YT the turret has 2 distinct explosions and when the 3rd is supposed to happen it triggers a cut scene. Um every time I do it I get the first 2 to pop of no problem. I keep shooting at the thing and it blows up a 3rd time and then a 4th time. Is my game bugged? Or am I an idiot and really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at games?

You need nearly fulllive and I just permantly shoot against it. After many try's it was working and I handled it with under 5% truck lve

I did this in a first run. you`re a noob !

That sounds bugged. I just did it on Classic and I think I popped it 3 times in total to trigger the cutscene and the next part of the chase. I didn't have to pump too many bullets into it the third time either. You may have to restart the mission sadly but give it a couple more goes just to be sure.

Restart the mission and try again, because maybe scripts got bugged and something didn't activated.

I'm starting to think it might be a bug. I emptied tons of rounds into it and nothing ever happens.

Felt the same but i activated aim assist and at the third shootout the cutscene triggered

I was unable to hit the turret in time when playing with gamepad, so after some 20 tries I switched to mouse and suceeded on second try.

if you want to just google Mafia: Definitive Edition Trainer and slow you game on 0.5. Seems to me like GTA IV helicopter bug. They made a port to PC and did not even bother play the game.

I got it to trigger the cut scene after I restarted the chapter. Also, you need to make sure you pop it the third time a full 20 seconds before the cut scene actually triggered. Super Sus and pretty sure it was a bug.

yea I too am stuck here,,,I've got aim assist on and it dont help either. and I keep hitting it, and don't get the cutsscene and cant advance..it suxx....i will restart the chapter i guess... :(

Seems like a common, game breaking issue.

This is why we need an BAR,Colt Monitor or a heavy caliber weapon for this mission.Tommy gun aint that powerful against something armored. Script was probably bugged or something
