How is this game 16 hours according to Howlongtobeat.com
I am 2.5 hours in, while mostly driving with cruise mode and already done 1/3 of the single player (6-7 missions).
How is this game 16 hours according to howlongtobeat.com? (the original Mafia game)

1 mission after I beat these guys again. Its 6 missions at least, look at the mission list.

To be honest, I'm not overly bothered.

I just wanted to get an idea of where I was in relation to you.

Even tho' the games have the same missions. The original game plays much slower and is far more difficult. So of course you would need more time to complete the original game. Especially the shooting mechanics in the original game are a pain to use and slow you down a lot. Cars also drive slower so you need more time to get around.

Then you are slacking behind. I am 2.5 hours in while spending 40~ minutes on the race mission and most of the time I am just walking and not rushing. How can you be behind me hehe xD

The campaign is 7 hours long. It plays much faster than the original.

The shooting in this game also bad in my opinion.
And I drive like a good citizen with speed limit on cruise mode most of the time. Still feels like we are rushing through the story like crazy.

I haven't tried it but there's even an option to skip the unnecessary driving parts. I guess it's good for those people who just want to treat this as a movie, which is clearly what they focused on the most.

I just take my time, I'm not in a rush to finish...

This is how I'm treating this game, and enjoying it immensely, although not interested in skipping anything.

Took me 12.6 hours.

I'm happy with my experience.

its over 20 missions fyi. and the main story took me about 10 hours to complete, with all the collectibles and free ride missions it will probably add up to closer to 17-19 hours depending on how long it takes you to get the collectibles and do the free ride content

and yes the shooting is AWFUL.....on higher difficulties i beat it on hard so my shooting experience made me want to kill myself but in free ride im playing on medium just so i can mess about and explore and the shooting isnt that bad feels like mafia 3 which IMO had good shooting

Tjhat site is just a basic guideline, its not the same for everyone. For example it lists fallen order as 16 hours but i beat it in 6 and most people can do it in 8-10 hours.
Nite69 Sep 27, 2020 @ 2:04pm
why does every game have to be a timed thing? you guys saying that can beat it in 12 hours I doubt have covered everything the game offers, I bet I could put 30 - 40 hours into it
