controller not detected?

I have a normal microsoft xbox one controller for PC.
Steam sees it, other platforms (like ubisoft etc) sees it.. but this game says nothing is connected?

I dont mind using KB/M ofcourse, but is this a known issue or...?

I have the same problem, the game doesn't detect my xbox controller.

Well i noticed the launcher does detect it, but nothing happens ingame as if i got nothing connected.
Very weird.

I have now turned off the launcher so i go directly ingame, wondering if that will work.

In my case (wireless x360 controller) it detects, but it loses the controller after some time in game.

Edit. Playing out of big picture mode seems to solve this.

It detects my wireless Xbox one X controller just fine.

Double check the PC's bluetooth sync with it. Should detect it and swap as soon as you turn it on and move the stick or hit a button on it. It can change back and forth while in game.

same, controller is not detected. option in the game settings are just greyed out. tried it with bluetooth and with usb, neither worked.

Its wired, yes im one of those people. :P
So its USB.

Everything detects the controller just fine, the launcher actually detects it too.
Its just ingame it isnt picked up somehow.

Its not a big deal but still..
Game looks amazing by the way, just wanted to state that.

PS4 style controler, doesn't detect it. I wanted to use the best setup : keyboard and mouse for sequences on foot and controler when driving a car.

Using Nintendo Switch pro controller and having same issue of it not being detected. Tried in both big picture and regular launch, turned off launcher as well.

Is detected in Mafia launcher but no function when getting to title screen.

Refunding.

Here also Dualshock 4 not working. I have tried every ''solution'' found here on forum and still game won't detect it. Frustrating

Look around and there is a thread on how to fix it .... I had the same problem but took the steps in that thread and now it works just fine .... However I don't remember exactly what I did
