Tommy Angelo appearance and voice changed? DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Why??? if u compare his face in the trailer/preoder bonus picture to the old ones he looks drastically different . He looks more like Vito than Tommy. At first i confused him with Sam but that doesnt make sense to include him on the forefront.
anywa im pretty excited for the remake, but this is a red flag and makes me skeptical whichis a shame because Mafia City of Lost Heaven i consider to be definitely one of the best video games of all time, true masterpiece. I liked the third Mafia very much too despite its flaws. IM sure the remake will be nice but it will be a massive shame if they change Tommy like this

The audio quality on the original's audio is pretty bad by today's standards, and the new voice is pretty similar. Why is everyone so negative? Tommy's original model left a lot of room for interpretation, so I'm not even sure if you can make your argument there as well. They've barely even shown the new face too, and the face in the illustration they're using looks pretty similar to the original imo. Vito and Tommy both look like stereotypical chad Italian dudes too. Tbh, I even thought Vito was Tommy when I saw my first Mafia 2 screenshots.

U are joking. all of the characters have big differences in facial structure. the head shape in the preoder picture is too different .and the new voice is not similar AT ALL...makes me think u didnt even bother to compare

Vito has a narrower face; Tommy has wider cheekbones and a wider nose. Other than that they're pretty similar. The illustration also has wider cheekbones and a wider nose. I've played Mafia as recently as yesterday and relistened to the new trailer before writing that last post. They're both a bit high pitched, but the new one is somewhat more gruff with a stronger Italian accent. I thought it was pretty good tbh.

Keeping the old looks of characters is a real challenge. Seems nearly impossible.
If they'll change Tommy completely, it will be hard to get used to him.

I don't care much about that. I played mostly with french voices, which were great and I don't expect the same ones to return. I'm just glad they made a remake, because it wasn't expected at all in the first place. So people you should be thankfull and wait for the release before complaining about every damn detail.

Not a problem to me anyway, but the original voice actor is still just 42. I don't know why he's not being used again, but it is what it is.

I prefer the original Tommy voice. He sounded a bit more naive and innocent, which was fitting. He wasn't the kind of person that *wanted* to join the Mafia, but simply ran out of good options.

If we make him just another tough guy, then that charm is lost.

Tommy looked just like a regular guy.. any look that follow this same Clark Kent/Superman style that Tommy and Vito has will do.. I only wish they had brought back the same voice actor.

No his appearance is important because hes a regular guy that could be me and you who was wrong place wrong time and got caught up in the events
