"complete" patch notes for both games at mafiagame.com do not solve this problem either. They only repeat this mumbo jumbo nonsense...

Yeah, after Mafia 3 I think they should stop making games and start making movies.
Damn I was so excited for this patch thinking that the smoke would be fixed.. it's really annoying seeing particles like from the smoke glitching out, flickering and just making the gameplay worse quality than it was before the definitive edition.
Borderless windowed isn't working ... no working resolution above 1080p despite it being option in launcher...
Looks like it also uses wrong GPU... on benchmark it tries to use integrated graphics card instead of dedicated one despite of what's set in launcher settings ...
