Why isn't mafia 2 definitive edition as good as Mafia 1 Definitive Edition.

The graphics in the first game are so good and so original. This one feels wacky now, I was expecting smth at the same level of graphics with Mafia 1 Definitive Edition.

Mafia 1 is a ''remake'' .......Mafia 2 is a remastered... aint' it obvious ?

The publishers didn't do the fans any service by calling both games "definitive edition". That way people who didn't do any research expect both games to be on the same technical level. Also for those players who usually have a hard time understanding the difference between a remake and a remaster, this will bring even more confusion.

No mastermind, it isnt obvious, they’re both called definitive edition and both made in the same year. So an average gamer and person would expect smth similar from both games.

I agree, calling them both the same thing creates the wrong first impression
