Is it worth buying?
I just finished the first Mafia game and I want to buy this game but when I see that the reviews are ranked "mostly positive", I have a doubt on this game and many of the reviews say that the game crashes on main menu. So, should I buy it or not?

Hell yes Mafia 1 and 2 are a amazing. Mafia 3 is okay but they strayed too far away from the style and mechanics of the first 2. If you liked Mafia 1 you will love Mafia 2. I haven't had any issues with it crashing to be honest and I played it both on windows and Linux but I guess it all depends on how your system is setup.
I haven't had any issues with crashing, though when I booted it up for the first time it did so in a tiny window; I had to go through the launcher so I could even change the video settings. As for actual gameplay/quality, I'm just under half-way through the main story and it's ok. I'm not enjoying it quite as much as I enjoyed the 1st, but it's been decent.

Did exactly as you did. Finished Mafia 1 and jumped right into Mafia 2. I'm going to be honest - after having played the first one and loved it, I went in blind to Mafia 2 and while it's a good game - Mafia 1 is way better. I'm 6 chapters in and the story hasn't grabbed me yet.
no play mafia 2 classic the remaster make the game worse and buggier
Just finished mafia 2 de, didnt have any problems with it much reccomend

The only problem I have had was the language, which has already been solved thanks to the forum.
For the rest, the game is going quite well and without problems, until chapter 11, which I am currently in, and without any type of problem.
