How do you choose language?

I have changed in the steam library to english, but my game is still in spanish. How can i change it?

Ok i found out. Launch the game and change it there in the settings from the launcher

Not working for me tho. Seems like russian pack is broken. Even in config file set my language. Anyway GF =)

I can't change too. I choose my language from the launcher, but it still english in the game. and the video settings also didn't change.

Same here, czech language not working as well. And the game itself doesn't save any settings or progres in gameplay, always got a message Load Failed.

Same problem. Launcher donest save options. I play only in english. On steam is Cz too but not ingame.

Nah, just open settings in "Mafia II Definitive Edition\EDIT\profiles\*NUMBERS*" and change language. It's working.

Nah why. In other languages have cca 6gb what you can delete. And what you say not working for so many players. Most players have problem with no saving in launcher and game save too. Cz language is only 1st step

Not even an option in-game to change the language, necessary to open game files in C: drive.

For me it helped to go here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mafia II Definitive Edition\EDIT\profiles\ and delete all those files with languages except the one I wanted (i left there czech). Then deleted them from bin, relaunch game and it was suddenly in czech. Complicated but worked.

The answer was already given, dont know how u can be that stupid and being able to use a computer... change the language from the 2k launcher when u launch the game on steam

Normal people disable the stupid launcher anyway. You can change the language under properties of the game. So just right click on the game in Steam, properties, choose desired language.

The only thing that worked for me in the end, was a combination of some of the suggestions here (but there was no "profiles" folder in my installation files, so I haven't tried it and I can't say how that option works).
I tried multiple combinations, but finaly it's fully czech once I have done:
1) Setting Czech in the launcher and in steam (I don't know how much neccesarry it is, but I had already done it by the time I was continuing with the rest, so I just rather included it here, just to be safe)
2) Delete all the language folders except for sds_cz (and the core sds)
3) Copy the content of "sds_cz" into "sds"
