I have just finished mafia 1 and dl mafia 2 now. I hope it runs better .
It is an amazing story though, I forgot how much I enjoyed these games back in the day.
They are not long games compared to modern open world adventure. The first isnt even open world. Its mission select but there is an open world.

the story is good , £1 an hour and 2nd and 3rd game are free (and better iirc)
