If you buy Mafia 2: Definitive Edition, then you will not get the original Mafia 2 Classic version as it has been removed from sale. The Definitive Edition is the only version of Mafia 2 available to buy.[/strick]
Edited incorrect post.
Thats not correct. If you buy or activate a key for the Definite Edition you get Mafia 2 Classic with it.
The store page of Mafia II Definite Edition literally says:
"Buying Mafia II: Definitive also gives you Mafia II (Classic) for free."
You just cant buy the classic version on its own anymore.

"Q: If I already own Mafia II on PC, do I need to also purchase Mafia II: Definitive Edition?
A: The Mafia II: Definitive Edition will be granted to existing Mafia II PC Steam owners free of charge. The 2010 edition of Mafia II will still be in your library as “Mafia II (Classic)”. Any new purchases of Mafia II: Definitive Edition, or Mafia: Trilogy will also give you “Mafia II (Classic)” on Steam PC only. Original Mafia II (Classic) saved games are transferable to Mafia II: Definitive Edition on Steam PC only."
