Flickering black textures on trash and debris

Can anyone else confirm if the trash in the game has flickering texture issues? Thanks. Im about done with this remaster

got the same problem, as well as the flickering smoke from manholes and everywhere... the graphics are really a down of this remaster... luckily they did not remove the classic from my library, I think I'm gonna go on and play the original.
I hope with MAFIA I they will do a much better job, since it is a remake.

I found a fix!!! Turn off Vsync and enable vsync in your graphic properties. However, many issues still are visable this takes it down a bit. But yeah this remaster is a demaster in my eyes

Or just disable vsync entirely if thats fine with you. Tearing may occur so that's why I suggest your control panel

After playing for a while, I noticed the PhysX debris and smoke stopped flickering after I set the framerate limiter from unlimited to 60. Give that a try if you haven't yet.

This is connected with the flickering steam.

Set the FPS lock to 50, and un-pause the game, pause it again and set the FPS lock to 60, when you unpause the stuff should stop flickering. You have to make sure you unpause in-between and you'll have to redo these steps when alt-tabbing.
