How do I get the DLC clothes and cars in the Definitive version?

I just fired up the Definitive Edition of Mafia 2 after playing through the first few missions on the "Classic Edition" yesterday. I hadn't even realized that they released these "upgraded" editions until I stumbled upon the announcement last night. Anyway, I installed Mafia 2 Definitive Edition last night and just fired it up for the first time a few minutes ago. I've made it to the point where you get dressed after going to sleep at your mom and sister's apartment for the first time and I don't have ANY of the DLC clothing in my closet. I just played through this part yesterday in the Classic Edition so I am 100% positive that I own ALL of the DLC packs for clothing and cars in the original version of Mafia 2.

The store page for the Definitive Edition claims that all of those DLCs are included with this remaster, but like I said, I don't have ANY clothes in my wardrobe other than Vito's default leather jacket and Lincoln's Army jacket from Mafia 3. What do I have to do to get these items? In a game that has so few clothing options and so few really great cars to drive around, the DLC clothing and vehicles are SUPER important to me. I tried to Google some info on it but I found nothing...so maybe I'm the only person dealing with this issue? Any help is appreciated.

DLC items unlocks after completing some chapters. First after getting out of jail, later in 8 and 10. I saw info that completing game (story mode) unlocks war hero DLC items. If you connect your game to 2K account then you recive items from made man DLC

Is there a mod to get Made Man DLC without the stupid account? There is one for Mafia 3 for the Classico outfit
