why does everyone think just cause you add a very white color fliter in a game doesnt mean it looks better...

between that and depth of field mods and bloom effect bit over kill in most games...

Yeah, it's like all those trashy GTA mods where just because they've tweaked the colours and given it a edgy name like 'Project realZ', it's suddenly seen as better even thought the performance may suffer heavily and the colours seem exaggerated or bleak.

The Definitive Edition isn't a huge step up but it's certainly way ahead of any mod I've played on the Classic. Much sharper, less pop-in, improved lighting and reflections and the cutscenes look great. YouTube videos don't do it justice and maxed out on PC it does look excellent and I'm the framerate is smooth as hell.

that author took it down off nexus fianlly after telling people he would release it for free for like 3 years.
he wants us all to pay on patreon, i understand donating to modders have done it before but this guy is a ♥♥♥♥.
i can't find the working beta 5 anywhere now.
