Game length is 2.5 Hours?
Seems a little short for an RPG game. Why are people okay with this because everyone seems pretty stoked?. In other RPG games, 2 hours only gets you past the prologue, but with grinding I am not sure how that really works out in terms of actually playing the game.

took me ~4hrs for the 1st run hearing all the dialogue and i just finished the x4 runs needed to get all the achievements (one didnt popup), that took me ~15hrs, but i did reset the game a bunch of times if my rolls where not positive, and not until the last run did i learn how to cheat on dice rolls, so that last run was the quickest.

I agree its a bit on the shortside, giving you repeat a bunch on each playthrough, but im hopeful the format will make it easier-ish to create new adventures, maybe with more text and less voiced narration? But still, i expect more campaigns eventually. User content would be awesome! never ending quests!

hmm...I dunno. Does this game need to be VR or is it just, you know, a visual thing? On the surface it looks like a turn-based Final Fantasy style card game I played coop with a buddy and it was a good game technically, but for me, I wanted to gouge out my eyeballs to make it stop after a while.
Also, I played that Demeo board game one and it was fun for a little bit but then I started to think it was pointless as a VR game and I got tired of it pretty quickly. Actually, my favorite part of the game was talking about random things with strangers while they were trying to beat the game.

yes, some people like these kinds of games, some people like others, some like the social aspect of coop, some like the peace of single player games.

whats your point?

I think really what it is, is I am lured in by the pretty 3D graphics like a living tabletop game, but then I worry that once I get it I will realize it is another Final Fantasy that I've already played a bunch of times and the game just has a new look.

Then I see the game length and I think if it only takes 2 to 5 hours to beat what kind of game is it?

And Demeo is a good game and I bought it and admired it but its just not for me. Too boring and psychologically inconsequential (for me anyway).

I think I just don't get it.
