You just choose to ignore that its a 3 man team? Its gonna take a while
Maybe its in dev hell maybe its not but im confident its not abandoned
Well i think its privilege to expect a company to change to force a game out in a specific timeframe. Neither opinion matters in the end. It is what it is.
Perhaps they....don't want to?
Link the post cause i have seen nothing on their official channels. They don't even have discord for Hollow Knight, nor the company.
Being like "Damn these other Metroidvanias only took at most a few years to make" is kinda ridiculous when many of them you can 100% the games in at most like 5-6 hours and that's with a casual first time play through.
I just beat Ender Magnolia completing all content in about 25 hours and that is one of the longer ones, this game likely will take a lot more than that. I would love to see someone 100% HK and all the DLC in less than 40 hours on a casual 1st time play through.
Other companies also have more people, if you compare this to something like Castlevania that was being backed by a large company in Konami. 3 people means it's a lot more work and time than if you have a team of 25 developers.
