William (the developer at Team Cherry) changed his pfp to a chocolate cake and changed his name and tag to something strange. He made a post on the 15th saying “Something big is happening tomorrow, keep your eyes closed.”. You probably are wondering how this means anything, but someone on Reddit looked into it and that image is apart of a recipe that happened to be posted on April 2, 2024. April 2, 2025 is the day of the Switch 2 Direct; is Silksong actually launching in 2025? Check FireBorns newest video to hear a bit more about it.

they announced hollow knight 2 weeks after they gave us the release date.... im not even thinking thats the case this time.. im still standing by my feb 24 2025 guess... but realistically im guessing nintendo payed team cherry to drop silksong the same day as switch 2.... but my brain is telling me thats not TC's style... maybe thats why last year they pushed their launch date back to tbd.... i do fully believe nintendo has been in contact with TC, cause nin is totally dirty enough to offer TC 10 million to drop silksong on nintendo switch 2, day one..... but silksong is gonna drop for all systems day one.... idk i hope nin isnt the reason we didnt get silksong last year.... id really hate nin soooo much more than i already do if thats the case. it did give TC a whole extra year i guess.... did you know that if ya hide in the grim troupes secret room.... the troupe will head off to its next destination, with you hidden away. legend says they go to pharloom after they leave hollownest..... TC hid a way for us all to play silksong early.... what if?

My guess is they needed to pick a date to release it at some point. Nintendo gave them the excuse to delay a bit longer once with the 2 April presser, so why not use that as a launch, or with our luck, a time to announce the actual date as some time in June? when Switch 2 officially launches.

I'm still in team "Chris Robert like feature creep" for now, but if it turns out that they sold out to Nintendo, holding the PC release hostage over all those years, until the Switch 2 comes out, then my perception of the company would totally change from unorganized, but charming to greedy af scumbags. 😅

I REFUSE to buy Silksong

Team Cherry’s lack of communication has gone too far. At this point, I think it’s clear that TC is an EVIL company, who wants nothing more than to see their fans suffer. (Possibly even more evil than EA or Disney)

The first red flags should’ve been the 4 free major content updates, packaged in a $15 game, followed by one of the planned DLCS being expanded into a full game. This was a clear sign that they’ve had sinister intentions since the start, and clearly hate the fanbase!

So you know what? You know WHAT?!?! I’m putting my foot down. Drawing a line in the sand. Laying down the law. Taking a stand. Setting my boundaries. Standing my ground. Digging in my heels. Other terms of phrase that mean the same thing as putting your foot down.

I REFUSE to buy Silksong UNTIL IT COMES OUT.

You shouldn’t have tested me Team Cherry. It didn’t have to end this way.

I hope you all join me in my protest against these scumbags.
