Does anyone know if Silksong will be available on Mac or Xbox? I play on Mac and have an Xbox in my possession, so I really hope it is. It would honestly be ridiculous if they made the original Hollow Knight on all platforms, then took that away from us for the sequel. I really want to play this.

Didn’t see that it was said at the end of the trailer, but the Team Cherry blog mentions this:

“Hollow Knight: Silksong will be available, at launch, on Windows, Mac, Linux & Nintendo Switch. More platforms may happen!”

They are a team of three people. They have said they are looking to release on the other consoles yet haven't due to them being a team of 3 people.

Nintendo doesn't pay anybody to make things exclusive, they aren't ♥♥♥♥ like other companies

Well, technically the Bayonetta series, but if I recall that had more to do with nobody else funding Platinum to make a sequel so Nintendo scooped it up. That's why you won't ever be seeing Bayonetta 2 and 3 anywhere else.

The Nintendo Switch version of Hollow knight sold more than both ps4 and xone versions, it's obvious why they chose the switch. Also, nintendo gives more support to indies than any other console.

That is correct. Any game that Nintendo direclty funds will be an exclusive to Nintendo's products, even if that overall reduces the reach their games can hit.

Since Nintendo owns Bayonetta now, Bayonetta 2 and 3 (and any game after those) are Nintendo exclusives.

Even though 2 is fully emulatable right now.
