Mod Support?
Will this game have mod support?

The first game didn't, tho the community has made their own modding tools tho it would be better if the game just had mod support to begin with.

Most likely not. But no information or confirmation. So parthaps be optimistic

I think it will be the same as it was in Hollow Knight. It's not developers intention to add some modifiers to the vanilla game they've created. If some people will desire to modify the game, sooner or later community will add some mods for them.

Yeah. I doubt Team Cherry vision their game as a goldmine for modifications, unalike Re-Logic's Terraria.
I don't think they're against modifications to the game either, for the most part.
As I remember them tweeting out the Hollow Knight Mod installer, praising it even.

Think they simply want the general game experience to be vanilla, but is not against if players do otherwise; luckily. We don't want another YandreSim experience. Luckily doesn't seem to be the case either!!:luv:

That's a terrible example, given that Terraria also doesn't have native modding tools. TML is made by the community, just like Hollow Knight's mod manager.

Journey's End literally made Mod Support a billion times easier.
They made it public on Steam Store, for free.

Yes, but it's still made by the community, not by Re-Logic.

That would be correct. Although I can't think of any other game having mod-support by the developers themselves directly within their app.

Factorio has a native mod browser. Not sure if you've played that.
