Animals don't reproduce
Hello !
I'm experiencing a wierd thing, it's been almost a year and none of my pets/domestic animals have reproduced, even with at least one male and one female, no birth, and I don't understand why, I've never had this issue in my previous playthroughs.
Do you have an idea of what could cause that ? Have there been a update where you have to enable the reproduction feature ?
Thanks for any response :)

Hello! Animals mate among themselves (same species). The breeding process is influenced by a couple of things: The number of animals on the map and in the pen, the sizes of pens, or if the pen is crowded, the animals will not breed.

Okay, I have five pet dogs, 2 males, 3 females, but they're not reproducing, how many adult animals do I need ? I there a threshold now or is it just a percentage that goes up with the population ?
That's wierd because in my previous saves, I only needed 1 male and 1 female and they would reproduce without issue.

Are all animals adult?

The way reproduction works is that there's a chance a female will get pregnant whenever they are within a certain distance of a male. This happens most frequently in pens, but pets can also get pregnant by crossing paths with each other.

You can adjust these numbers (speed and chance and limit) by yourself via AnimalBase.json file but we do not suggest it as it might get out of hand and all that processing can get demanding on your PC (depending on the configuration)

Yes my animals are adult. I have had a few births now, I'm just suprised because it seems that they are greatly reduced compared to before for some reason. Or maybe I don't remember it correctly I don't know. But anyway, I'm happy to know that's not a bug :)
