anyone else run into an issue with settlers just picking up piles of fuel (sticks) to just drop them again, never to refuel anything at all? any ideas how to fix it? winter turned deadly without it

draft/undraft is basically a "reset button" of sorts and does work whenever they get stuck due to a bug

I'll give the draft/undraft a shot.
I have a couple unskilled settlers i was using for stewards but they were just walking to piles, turning them in a new direction and wandering off.
i never touch the priority on anything that needs refuel because i have been worried about overload.

I have the same issue. I changed prio to high, deactivated the item and also rebuild plenty of them. I also manually assigned them to refuel but they just run to the wood and do nothing afterwards. How to fix this?

I keep an active lookout for this issue.
The best way to spot it for me is to check the braziers and see if any of them are off.

If they are, I demolish and rebuild the malfunctioning unit.

Until an update fixes it.

This is a bug, noted. We already found what's causing the issue and hopefully, we'll push the patch live before the year ends.
