Can no longer select trees?

This may sound odd. Not sure if I'm missing something but I'm now unable to select trees? I can use the Chop and Cut tools to assign a task to a tree, but I cannot click on the tree to get its info.

Sometimes this game makes me question my sanity LOL.

Are you sure the level is at least 1 higher than the trees. Second on the upper left is the tree icon red or not. Easy mistakes to make.

HA! Thanks guys. I didn't realize that the "Hide Tree Tops" setting also makes the trees unselectable. I was losing my mind for a bit there. Thank you!

Not sure if the devs fixed it, but sometimes if you load a game where treetops were hidden, the show/hide button would display as 'shown' when they were actually hidden. Toggling the button on and off again would restore the trees. Same thing happened with show/hide roofs as well.

yeah, I did this and was scratching my head until I figure out my current elevation wasn't high enough.
