Infirmary
Whats controls the settlers decision to sleep in the infirmary bed VS their own bed? i had one that had 2 major wounds and bleeding and didn't want to stay in the infirmary. even though my 50 Medicine person kept carrying her there. infirmary is (modest)

Not really sure but I guess when they are "resting" as in not doing a job, they go into their normal bed and the infirmay bed is when they do the "job" to reconvalesence.
The 2 am time would fit that, usually being in their non-work time unless you radically changed the schedule from the default.

I figured that they would go to the infirmary if they need to and not as a duty... and there's still mt Critically injured that just happened and before i can heal him he went to the church to pray... i mean seriously???

As I said mostly speculation, they can be healed in their normal bed too, just make sure you set somebody with a good medicine skill to have "tending" as a high prio job and have some medicine on hand always (better meds are preferable, but herbs do, I usually keep about 10-15 of them in storage)

Answer... You have to put Wall Medicine Storage in room with only Infirmary Beds, to create an Infirmary. Until created, sick ones go back to their bed, unless Critical Hurt.
put a bed in storage, and dedicate each bed to a specific settler till only the infermary bed is left over for the one that is hurt

All my setters Have their own chambers and there's only enough beds for the number of settlers I have do I need to destroy his bed then?
