Dogs dying in my own traps.
This really sucks, I have a ton of metal traps in my front entrance, it's been perfectly fine for this whole time as I put them all down, now they are suddenly killing all my dogs.

Like one too many metal traps and I've lost more than half my dogs in a single day.

Did I do something wrong or is this a bug?
Plus eventually I closed the wall up and a few were out there on the edge of the map. I can't release them to get them to go find food so I put food near them, wish there was a way to bring them back into the walls, or a dog house / shed or something.

they made it so anything can get hit by a trap, not just enemies. which is why traps are kinda meh...

someone suggested to put traps in checkered setup and like, at least settlers would always avoid stepping on them as long as there free tile avaialble next to them

Thanks! That worked, the dogs avoid the traps! Not sure how less effective the whole setup will be now with so many fewer traps. Turns out they can take one hit, but if they trip another one, because they have to to get someplace, then { finger across throat )

From bad events, good I guess. Losing the hauling employees was devastating to my farming industry and traveling restaurant business. But, After cutting back on the amount of farming I am doing, I realize I was doing more than was really necessary, even to run the shop by a lot, so cutting back was good.

I dunno, for me, while settlers and merchants do avoid traps, tame animals make no effort to evade them whatsoever. They just go in a straight line across checkboard of traps.
