Cant get tamed animals to enter the pen?

Why after I tame the wild animals I cant get them to enter the pen

On the pen pole sets the types that can be in there, they should just rope them into it once they are domesticated. If they are pets you can set them to a settler and check hauling or combat or both,, but they won't go in the pen anymore.

Set up a pen, place a stick, then settlers go and fetch the animals themselves... you not need to worry about it. Also you need a fence gate for the pen to let them enter it.

And they need to be tamed ONLY! Training tamed animals turns them into pets and keeps them out of the pen!

Caveat on this - Just had a Tamed Dog spawn last night. Dogs are not an option on the Pen Pole. Thus the 'Tamed Dog' mostly wandered around starving to death until I managed to track him down and tame him enough times.

So Dogs are at least one exception to this,

Actually my tamed Dogs will often enter the Pen on their own to eat. They just don't stay in there normally.
