Newbie question - can I get a list of currently available weapons? How do I equip a specific weapon?

I'm in Day 3 of my first game. I have found a few weapons lying about (short bows, longbow, spear) and assigned these generically (ranged, melee) to appropriate settlers.

So now the settlers have weapons in their inventories, but how can I find a list of all the weapons currently available to be equipped, and how can I select a specific weapon for a particular settler?

Afaik there isnt a list for weapons, armor, clothes, best you can do is set one storage to accept only those and the others not to, geting them all in one spot.

To euqip anything to a specific settler, just select the settler then right click the gear you want them to take, you get a small menu and can tell them to equip that item.

You can set custom weapon profile too, choosing specific weapons and even quality that they will autoequip. I haven't used them much though so not sure if they work properly. I tried custom profile like once or twice just for apparel, to get rid of ugly apparel negative mood thing. Seem to have worked, although it was like 2 or 3 patches ago

I have installed a couple of weapon racks, I can see weapons stored there.

I can't see how to select a weapon from the racks, partly because of the infuriating intermittent inability to tilt and rotate the camera view, which I have reported separately and which makes the game often unplayable for me.

Eventually I worked out that under the Manage Weapon list I could create a Custom profile using the + option, then renaming that profile from gibberish to something sensible (Like "Custom"!)
