Follow up resource questions
Hey! So is salt ever used for anything? Also, I finally have a distillery but I keep getting the message that I don't have enough distillery ingredients, but I don't see any items I have listed as such, what are they??

Salt is used in making pickled vegetables. Vinegar is the alternative ingredient. Haven't reached it in the tech tree yet but I believe the dubious booze you get from the fermenting station is refined in the distillery to become alcohol.
