Sliding Coyote Time in camera settings all the way to the left is the fix. Camera still jolts around while moving, but at least it holds steady when you stop.
Devs were very thoughtful with the camera changes, but I feel it needs to go back to basics. The camera view should not move at all without user input, regardless of if you're panning over buildings or terrain. No bouncing over potholes. Period.
I love using orbital camera, so I feel like if you want to provide the most dynamic views you could just increase the zoom in/out range slightly and then allow a full tilt of the camera so it can go from completely top-down, bird's eye view to fully parallel with the ground (showing the perspective of a settler). Orbital camera currently stops a bit short of that, and I dislike how the current zoom function also adjusts the tilt. I want tilt separate from zoom.
How we turn off this effects?
