you may be noticing a pattern in my choices
bridge towers eva side of bridge then carry the bridge into wall (hillside) elaborate frontage for effect for underground city flood around the towers greenhouses on top for that come get me vibe
if you pictured that in your mind. ....congratz your a creative
the water looks worse than it really is (it is every time ive tried the seed was water broken)
just requires afew logs to guide it

i bodged it
however the river is bedrock level and 2 impressive waterfalls (when its under control)
central area has the river wrap around it
Just checked if this one was still around, and it is! Absolutely perfect map for me. Thanks for going through so many seeds looking for these Morbious.
Hey Morbious! I wanted to thank you again for finding the seed 1546973543, here is what I came up with it:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3096367029
In case it is of any help, I have a starting save for the map before the update killed it.
looks cozy i enjoyed looking / finding it you enjoyed playing on it <shrug>
there's always more to hunt for
not my usual pick of worthy (its a bit low for my tastes) but the area on top is flat with a few cuts of dirt slopes it could be isolated and man made ramps put in for easy lower access
with a settlement on top facing towards the back attackers would have only a route you created
theres plenty of surface ore with a open mine at back

a mountain version of what id normally find in hillside (potentially isolated section of land (when you first enter a map the lighting sucks till 8-9am ) it has potential
i got 1546973543 r.i.p feelings from it im getting the urge to mine it flood surrounding area and whack a tower on it (i really need to get it out of my system at some point)
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3097030422
once broken (i did panic at one point) a new pond was created the water left in the mountain is at level 3.0 so your trench will need to be lower for remaining water to drain out
922321384 large the rest of it is generic
like that? (hadnt planned on making it public) (pop the lake instant hollow mountain and build the frame upwards) make a nice flat settlement (although shape is weird)
i can look for a better ive seen quite afew large mountains that jut out only problem with mountains is the ceiling cant build past it and most good mountains are at the ceiling
there more for dwarf builds
however i can keep an eye out
there was a mountain map someone posted earlier in the thread it had 2 sections isolated one low one high
it was a nice map bit confusing but the top part where you start was height 12(ish) so theres a bit of wiggle room for building on the hill section
Please keep these public and don't delete the comments, as you saw, it helped a lot.
Big lake you can build right next to the lake and then build some channels to get some water to create a moat.
You could also in theory I think terraform your way to the center of the lake and build something there.
some seeds i kept back if you've seen them i wont remove them although i do think the water filled mountain is a unintended bug
question
(picture this hypothetical scenario)
you find a coastal valley map (half the maps water) instead of land that's normally there you find a giant sink hole in the water that touches the edge (1 block missing from being a complete minecraft circle) of the map its sucking the water in like a drain it cant fill due to the one block on the edge (its acting as a exit for the water)
rest of the maps fine .... waters staying same level
do you
a/ run to the forum knowing if you show the pic dev will instantly fix it
b/build a mine craft ship next to the hole while taking pictures (its a nice ship)
c/ laugh like a mad scientist take a pic and store it for later
d/ combine b and c
hypothetically in this scenario
id choose d/
but only cause i know someone would post it in reddit and claim they found it
have you steam verified your files? maybe some file got messed up in the update
id also f10 when you spot something weird
sometimes its just the angle of the makeshift wall
some maps have more than one source of water upon entering a map i pause and far along a river is a puddle that spreads out to meet the water fall (incoming water source) so the map spawns water points and you make a run off there
ive had invisible water squares (it was clear i could see the floor below)
the water when it updates / refreshes can take ages as it goes in stages
ive broken alot of maps by breaking a waterfall at or near the top
personally i think it came off test to soon but i dunno how many testers there was
to anyone reading this that don't know
if building a dam and you want water to keep flowing use windows (open) below the water line there's a great guide in the experimental forum that goes into details
https://steamcommunity.com/app/1029780/discussions/3/3959288354317603185/
if you find it useful tell him so that way they know the testing pain was worth the effort
