Interest in making draw bridge?
I figured out how to make them. It took me a moment but its pretty straight forward and very effective for a kill box if you wipe out the enemy archers first. If there is an interest ill be glad to screenshot n share how its done.

Looks like a draw bridge, or works like a drawbridge?
I dig a 1x trench around the outside of my walls. In 3 to 4 places, at 'gates', I place wooden or stone bridges over the trench/moat. (looks kinda like a draw bridge)
I would like to see a screenshot of what yours looks like.

Looks beautiful! I updated with a guide on it. I was able to get a functioning drawbridge that will 100% isolate you from enemy invaders and I have used many times to even end fights before villagers get injured. Feel free to check it out!

Aww..."Functional" is questionable...lol You're just destroying a bridge. Which is fine, for a tactic. I do like the idea, for gameplay. But, its not really a drawbridge.
In the SS that I posted, I can wipe out up to 11(so far) raiders before they get through my gates. (with 6 archers)
I do think it shouldnt be too hard for them to add a blueprint, with a research unlock, for a real functional drawbridge. One that actually raises and lowers. Could go into the 'defensive structures' research tree.
I would also like to have tar or oil that could be placed in traps, (again researched through defensive structures) that archers could light on fire with flaming arrows from brazers they stand next to on the Alure.
Nice guide for the tactic though. I may actually use it.

You are very correct its more of a destructive drawbridge but best we can do without mods at this time. I agree with you as well on that as i think it be great to also play on possible collapse damage as you could roof an area and destroy the supports causing damage onto the enemies inside the structure.

Drawbridges would be cool, if for nothing more than the visual appeal. Maybe for after 1.0, still heaps on the list to get done.
