Mining

Both my players got stuck mining ? Any tips on how to get them out? they are just starving in there xD

it just depends where they are stuck and in what material aiming for dirt is fastest / easiest stuck in iron or coal....r.i.p. settlers

fastest and highly advised reload the previous save (it'll be previous night)

then watch them like a hawk if doing stairs down highlight (floor) to mine 1 at a time as they finish mining that one and they run away pause select next floor to dig click settler then priotize digging /mining repat till all 3 are dug

the settlers are really dumb currently if you only have 2 settlers id turn ones mining off they can still fall in when they rush in to grab the ore but the chance is low

How do you make a ladder? I cant find it anywhere, i had to build stairs but that is causing problems :(

You can't build ladder (that has been removed). Wooden stair can be build on ressources. And the ressources will remain accessible.

Like morbius explain they tend to ignore the position of others when mining. One can mine under another and throw it into the pit. They can also enclose another people when building the corners of walls.

Damn the ladder would still be so good for mines etc rather than stairs, oh well ill make it work XD

Make a CLAY staircase. You'll have to dig out some space for it though.
