question on animal pens

is there a way to see how many animals i can have in a pen and can they breed if so does it matter on domestic or pet?

It seems that they can breed in the pens and doesn't seem to matter if domestic or a pet. As to how many... I have no idea yet.

I had 6 animals in a single pen, 2 cows, 2 goats and 2 chickens. 5 x 5 pen. 3 troughs, 2 with hay and 1 with animal feed (for the chickens).

The goats bred a lot, just don't train them.

ok good to know i have two goat one m one f so a 5x5 should let them breed i will try it and i will make sure not to train them
