Milking of goats not an automatic task?
Now I did the first testing with the new animals and I aquired two goats, put them in a pen and had one settler have animal husbandry as primary task.

Now the female goat "filled up" with milk reached 100% and I was waiting for the animal husbandry-settler to milk it.

But 3 days went by and the settler even idled but did not go to milk the goat, only when I manually ordered her to milk it did the settler go and do that.

Now did I overlook anything I have to set for the settler to automatically recognize "milk the goat at 100% milk" as a task?

Hi, in my game it's automatic. I haven't managed to find info is it skill related and in which way. My settlers with the animal handling job and skill do this and wool shearing by themselves.

Maybe his animal handling level isn't high enough. It dose it automatically in my game, but I leveled up the animal handling at the start.

Doubt it, the settler has 23 in animal handling. And since animal handling is set to "1" in the job menu I would normally expect them to do that with pretty much top priority.

Does it take some time after the goat gets to 100% milk, in your game or do they do it quick?

My settlers perform these duties automatically.

Yea seems it was just in that one game, found a cow now in a new one and it gets milked automatically.
Since the settlers and pets AI is kinda wonky sometimes after the last update, guess that was to blame.
